You don’t have to leave your furry family members behind! Picard Realty Rentals offers a number of pet friendly condo rentals. Just check for the pet friendly logo on the condo information page. If you don’t see the pet friendly logo, then it is not a pet-friendly unit. But hurry! Pet friendly units are popular and often book out six months in advance.  PLEASE NOTE:  Silver Beach Pet-Friendly rentals are limited to a single small dog, 20lbs. and under.  SeaWind will allow 2 dogs.  (Silver Beach, 1-small dog from Memorial Day to Labor Day(Peak Season), Off-Peak,2-small dogs, 20lbs and under.)

Suggested Puppy Packing List:

• Veterinarian’s documents for your dog
• Your dog should be micro-chipped and/or wearing a collar with your information on it
• Your carrier or crate, complete with identification
• A leash and an extra collar
• A couple of sheets to cover furniture and/or the bed at your destination
• A blanket or cushion from your dog’s home bedding
• A container of your dog’s food. If your pet eats a common food and you know that it is available, you need not bring a whole bag
• Your dog’s food and water dish
• Backpack for your dog if you plan to be hiking or walking
• Their favorite chew toys and treats
• Grooming supplies such as a comb or brush
• Bring along baby wipes as they are great for keeping paws clean and for clean up of any accidents
• Pet medication
• Flashlight for late night walks

Get Fido some exercise and social time at The City of Orange Beach dog park. The park offers separated dog runs in case your little dog “can’t run with the big dogs”. For owners that are on their best behavior, the city has placed benches in shaded areas so they can watch their “children” play.

For the very daring, you and your dog can venture down Catman Trail where local legend tells of hikers being stalked by the infamous Catman. Catman Trail is located about 1/4 of a mile from Silver Beach.
