Driving directions from Pensacola airport (PNS)

Take a left on N 12 Ave, continue on as this turns into Fairfield Drive, stay left to take the New Warrington Spur to New Warrington Rd., exit right to take 98 West. Stay on 98 West until you see the exit for FL-173 South Blue Angel Parkway, this will take you to Sorrento Rd., take a right and Sorrento turns into Perdido Beach Blvd. This takes you right along the Gulf into Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. If you are in downtown Pensacola and want to take the beach road, just go as far south as you can and follow the beach highway west to Gulf Shores.  

Driving Directions from Birmingham and Atlanta

Take the Interstate south to Montgomery (I-85 from Atlanta, I-65 from Birmingham). From Montgomery take I-65 south toward Mobile. From I-65:  Take exit 37 – Gulf Shores Pkwy/Hwy 59 South, approximately 53 miles to Gulf Shores. Total driving time (depending on driving habits and traffic): Atlanta 5.5 to 6 hours, Birmingham 4.5 to 5 hours, Montgomery 3 to 3.5 hours.  

Driving Directions from Pensacola

Take I-10 West to exit 44 – Hwy 59 South; OR Take Hwy 292 West to Hwy 182 to Orange Beach; OR Take Hwy 98 West to Hwy 59 to Foley, then Hwy 59 S. to Gulf Shores If you are in downtown Pensacola and want to take the beach road, just go as far south as you can and follow the beach highway west to Gulf Shores or If you are in Pensacola, you can go due east on Hwy 98 to Foley and south on Hwy 59 to Gulf Shores. Or once you get across the big bridge at Perdido Bay, you can wander the county roads south and east to Gulf Shores.  

Driving directions from New Orleans

This is really easy…Take I-10 east to Exit 44 in Alabama, the Loxley exit. Go south on Hwy 59 to Gulf Shores. Total driving time, 3 to 3.5 hours (depending on driving habits and traffic).  

Directions to by-pass Foley and Gulf Shores to Orange Beach

Take the Foley Beach Express (toll road) off Hwy 59 in Summerdale, cross toll bridge into Orange Beach–currently $2. After crossing the toll bridge turn left at the dead end onto Al. Highway 180. Proceed approximately 3 miles and turn right at the traffic light onto Al. Highway 161. Follow highway 161 to where it dead ends at the beach highway (Al. 182) and turn right onto the beach highway. Proceed approximately 1/2 mile on the beach highway and Silver Beach Condominium ( and our office, which is in the Silver Beach condominium) will be on your left, on the Gulf side of the street, directly opposite the Winn-Dixie Supermarket shopping center.
